Global Running Day 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️

Following the success of last years Global Running day celebration organised by our friends over at Thanet Roadrunners.

Coastal Striders would like to invite all running clubs in Thanet to join together again for a 5k unofficial social run to celebrate Global Running Day. The run will Take place on Wednesday the 5th June and will be starting at 18:30 from the Boating Pool, Royal Esplanade Ramsgate.

The Route will be 2 loops of the Westcliff Promenade:-

We hope to have as many participants as possible join us from Thanet Roadrunners , Alfie’s Striders , Thanet Athletics Club , That Running Club, Follow us Running, Vegan Runners, The Illegals, Kent County Athletics Association, Pegwell Bay parkrun , Margate parkrun , any group is welcome, please come along in your club, parkrun or just your favourite running tops to celebrate running in Thanet.

Many of us hope to get together afterwards for a social beer and pizza at The Boating Pool bar.
